Church Administrator - Metro East

  • Coordinate Metro East events, classes, and weddings
  • Collaborate with the Media & Communications Team to execute Metro East promotions and to secure all presentation needs for services
  • Communicate with elders, leaders and congregants regarding upcoming meetings/events, including administering monthly newsletter
  • Create and execute a system to help staff members respond to communication inquiries via email, phone calls, and response card inquiries in a timely and pastoral manner as needed
  • Manage the church calendar and Metro East facility space for classes, events, weddings, etc.
  • Administrate and manage Metro East Planning Center Online groups, initiatives and events including: sign-up processes, content management, and updating member contact information
  • Coordinate the process for pathway to membership classes & the membership process
  • Recruit and lead volunteer administrators to assist in administering processes
  • Coordinate with Central Facilities team on building and maintenance needs
  • Assist with on-boarding new Metro East staff/interns
  • Order and organize supplies for Metro East as needed
  • Answer the telephone, screen and direct calls, and take and relay messages
  • Manage requests for building keys and purchasing cards (Schnucks, SAMS)
  • Plan and coordinate Metro East staff celebrations and connection opportunities
  • Participate in Church Administrator Network Team meetings
  • Attend The Journey-Metro East and The Journey all-staff meetings
  • All other duties as assigned

    Status: Part-time, hourly (non-exempt)

    Schedule/Hours: 20-25 hrs/week
