Why are you at The Journey?
We are at the Journey for the accessible yet biblical preaching, the concentration on the person and work for Christ as a constant focus, for the gospel centeredness that is brought to all aspects of life and the open authentic community that we’ve found as we have engaged in church life at the Journey.

The continual exposure to Jesus and His life, death and resurrection have been attractive to us as we’ve tried to live as submitted believers seeking to live as Jesus’ disciples – begin constantly transformed by the Gospel in everyday life.

Back in the day, we came to The Journey to plant a church in South County St. Louis – so for Cindy and I the South County Journey plant is a considerable answer to prayer and a source of continual awe and wonder of the grace, mercy and faithfulness of God in our lives and in the lives of those around us.

What do you love about St. Louis?
We love the seasons of the Midwest, we love that St Louis was a great place to raise our family; we love the free things there are to do in the region like the zoo, and the state parks, we love the Hill and the diversity of restaurants there are to experience, we love the ease of access to almost anywhere in the area, after thirty years here we love the number of great and true friends we’ve been able to live life with – and we love the St Louis Blues.

Why are you at The Journey?
I am here because of The Journey's heart for St. Louis. I love that I get to be a part of seeing St. Louis transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What do you love about St. Louis?
Forest park, the zoo, the cultural diversity, Cardinals baseball, and all the great restaurants. Even though St. Louis is a city, it still has a small town feel. I love that I can be almost anywhere in the city and either run into someone I know or make a connection with someone I've just met.
