Why are you at The Journey?
My wife and I are at The Journey because we deeply resonate with the core mission of the church - to love, trust and obey Jesus as a family of missionary servants. In this community of Jesus-followers, we have experienced the joy of knowing our gracious God, the freedom of authentic relationships, the privilege of telling not-yet-believers about Jesus' love, and the challenge of daily serving others. Ultimately, we are here because God told us to give our lives to this church and this city. We fail everyday, but God has been faithful to work in us and through (even despite us).

What do you love about St. Louis?
God has given me a deep and abiding love for St. Louis. I was born and raised here. Besides the fact that we are the greatest mid-western city in the US (I'm talking to you, Chicago and KC), St. Louis is also experiencing a cultural renaissance. There is an influx of restaurateurs, entrepreneurs, artists, thinkers, students, visionaries, etc. That's what I love about St. Louis - the melting pot of people (and neighborhoods). I want those people to know the love of the Father, the forgiveness of the Son, and the fellowship of the Spirit.
