In the event a decision is made by the West County leadership to cancel or postpone a service and/or event due to inclement weather conditions*, we will communicate this decision in the following ways:
We will immediately send an e-mail to all of our members and regular attenders. If you don't currently receive our monthly newsletter, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to our mailing list.
A post will be made on The Journey West County's Facebook page. Make sure you've 'liked' our page by clicking HERE.
A web ticker showing “Weather Alert” will be placed on our website (www.thejourney.org/wc). There is occasionally a delay when posting items to our website, so we encourage you to also check your e-mail or Facebook.
* Inclement weather includes any kind of extreme weather which might create hazardous driving conditions or significantly impair normal operations at The Journey West County. While this usually means snow or ice, it may also include severe thunderstorm activity, tornadoes, flooding or other natural perils.
